Artist * Spinner * Renaissance Woman
Originally hailing from Jackson, TN and now residing in beautiful Midtown Memphis, Madame Woolite has quickly become a preeminent artisit on the Memphis scene. Her commissioned pieces have been featured across the state, from The Orpheum Theater in downtown Memphis to the Univeristy of Tennessee in Knoxville. From books and maps to fabric creations and fur, small sketches to life-size works of art, her skill and creativity know no bounds. If you have something in mind, she can bring it to life.
Part of continuing series of internet selfies re-imagined with mixed media. This beautiful piece uses charcoal and pasels to recreate a picture on an old text page, hashtags included. Getting your nose out of the phone, and in to a book.
More of a 'traditional' work, this piece uses oil paints on canvas to create a melancholy scene. Madame Woolite's art often includes a wide range of emotion and is not limited to a single genre or medium.
For the yarn enthusiast, the visual arts connoisseur, or the nostalgic nerd in all of us, this meticulous recreated Gameboy is sure to envoke a sense of joy and whimsy. Including a control pad, A / B buttons, speaker, and screen, you'll be hard pressd to enter The Konami Code.
Images of each piece that I've done over the last few years. Some finshed, some not. All created with passion, creativity, and a bit of whimsy.
Things look good in sets of 3's. Typically. There's even a whole theory about it. You can check it out on www.coppyclogger.com
